Travel SICU RN in Boston, MA

A Travel Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care for surgical and trauma patients in an acute care hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on a 13-week contract. The 8-bed unit serves transplant, hepatobiliary and general surgery patients with 1:1-3 ratios. The unit also cares for trauma cases.

• Monitor and assess surgical and trauma intensive care patients
• Administer medications and titrate therapies as ordered
• Coordinate care with surgeons and the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient status, interventions and responses in the chart
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Support bedside procedures and recovery needs in the unit

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2-3 years related experience
• SICU and trauma/Level 1 trauma experience
