Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Virginia

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will support respiratory therapy care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit handles about 20 to 25 treatments per round and uses Meditech charting with oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, and blood gas equipment in a fast-paced setting.

• Provide respiratory treatments and therapies
• Assist with nebulizer, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilator care
• Obtain arterial blood gases and review results
• Monitor patients during respiratory support and adjust care as directed
• Check, clean, and prepare respiratory equipment
• Document treatment details and patient responses in Meditech

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Active Virginia state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• ICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program
