Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Fredericksburg, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a hospital respiratory therapy unit on a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role serves adults and NICU patients, uses Meditech charting, and works with ventilators and noninvasive respiratory equipment.

• Provide respiratory assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Support adults and NICU patients with ventilator care and noninvasive support
• Manage CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula and Bubble CPAP therapy
• Operate ventilators and related respiratory equipment
• Document care and treatment plans in Meditech
• Collaborate with nurses and providers on respiratory support

• Virginia Respiratory Therapist license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
• NICU respiratory therapy experience

• BLS, ACLS and NRP after hire
