Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florence, SC

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory diagnostics and critical care support in an acute care hospital in Florence, South Carolina, on a 13-week contract. The role serves neonates through geriatrics and uses Epic charting. It supports a broad respiratory therapy caseload with critical care needs.

• Assess patients and deliver ordered respiratory treatments
• Support airway management, intubation assist, and extubation
• Monitor ventilatory support, including BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC
• Interpret ABGs and troubleshoot respiratory alarms
• Provide care for critical care, emergency, and pediatric patients
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license in hand at start
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Recent critical care experience
• Epic charting system, community hospital, and prior travel experience

• Bronchoscopy and nitric oxide support
• NICU and pediatric critical care
• Trauma level I or II experience
• High-risk delivery support
