Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in South Carolina

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist with CRT certification will support neonates and pediatric patients in a level 4 NICU and pediatric cardiac setting on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit uses Epic and serves infants, children and adolescents. The hospital is Magnet, teaching and a level 1 trauma center.

• Assess respiratory status and support care plans for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Assist with extubation and other respiratory procedures as directed
• Deliver ventilatory and airway support in NICU and pediatric critical care settings
• Monitor patient response to therapy and report changes promptly
• Document care in Epic and communicate with the care team
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and maintain equipment readiness

• CRT certification
• BLS, PALS and NRP
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license in hand at start
• 3 years of pediatric, neonatal and infant respiratory therapy experience
• Experience in NICU, pediatric critical care and pediatrics

• Epic charting experience
• Bronchoscopy experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
