Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in South Carolina

A Travel Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit uses Epic and is part of a Magnet, teaching, Level 1 trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess respiratory status for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Deliver therapeutic respiratory treatments and airway support
• Assist with extubation and ventilatory care
• Support NICU and pediatric cardiac care teams
• Document care in Epic
• Respond to changing patient needs in a teaching, trauma setting

• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license in hand at start
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications
• 3 years of pediatric, neonatal, and infant experience
• Extubation, NICU, and pediatric critical care experience

• Epic experience
• Bronchoscopy experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
