Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Greenville, SC

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide adult respiratory care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Greenville, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatric patients, uses Epic, and provides trauma level I respiratory care. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Deliver adult critical care respiratory therapy
• Assist with extubation, airway placement and suctioning
• Administer aerosol, inhaled and nebulized therapies
• Support HFNC, BiPAP and CPAP therapy
• Troubleshoot ventilator alarms and wean from mechanical ventilation
• Collect sputum specimens and perform tracheostomy care

• Active South Carolina Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• ACLS and BLS
• 2 years of respiratory therapist experience in adult critical care
• Trauma Level I experience
• Epic charting experience
• Proficiency with ABG interpretation and ventilator management

• Emergency department experience
• Inhaled Flolan, nitric oxide, ketamine, Mucomyst, bicarbonate and theophylline experience
• Teaching hospital experience
