Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in South Carolina

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide pediatric and NICU respiratory care in a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics and adolescents. Epic charting is used in a Magnet, teaching, Level 1 trauma hospital.

• Assess respiratory status in neonates, infants, pediatrics and adolescents
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments and airway support
• Monitor ventilator settings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Assist with extubation and other airway procedures as needed
• Document care and treatments in Epic
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other care team members

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license in hand at start
• BLS, PALS and NRP certifications
• 3 years of pediatric, neonatal and infant experience
• NICU and pediatric critical care experience
• Extubation experience

• Epic charting experience
• Bronchoscopy experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Level I trauma experience
