Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Columbia, SC

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will support respiratory care services in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics and supports respiratory services, rapid response teams, and transportation. Epic is used for charting.

• Provide respiratory treatments and therapies
• Assist with airway management and suctioning
• Draw and interpret arterial blood gases
• Support ventilator weaning and mechanical ventilation care
• Respond with rapid response and transport teams
• Perform tracheostomy care and management
• Monitor and troubleshoot respiratory alarms

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential and state license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 1 year of registered respiratory therapist experience
• Adult critical care skills
• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience

• Direct intubation experience
• Emergency department experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma level I or II experience
