Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in a hospital on a 52-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a Level I trauma center and teaching hospital, and uses Epic for charting.

• Provide respiratory therapy support to adult and geriatric patients
• Assist with airway management, ventilation, and oxygen therapy
• Administer aerosol treatments and inhaled medications
• Draw arterial blood gases and support interpretation
• Manage tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator weaning
• Collaborate with the care team and document in Epic

• BLS certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Virginia state respiratory therapist license
• 4 years of respiratory therapy experience, including adult critical care
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level II experience

• ACLS certification
• ACCS certification
• Trauma Level I experience
