Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Blacksburg, VA

A Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Blacksburg, Virginia. The unit serves ICU, CMU, medical-surgical, and emergency patients and uses MEDITECH. The location offers outdoor recreation and a college-town setting.

• Assess respiratory status and support care plans
• Manage ventilators and noninvasive respiratory support
• Administer oxygen therapy and breathing treatments
• Support airway care and emergency respiratory interventions
• Monitor blood gases and document patient care
• Collaborate with the care team on respiratory needs

• Virginia Registered Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS and ACLS
• Accredited respiratory therapy program
