Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in a hospital progressive care unit in Wichita, Kansas on a 13-week contract. The 14-bed unit uses Meditech and works at 4:1 ratios with RN and PCT support; patients may have chest tubes, IV pumps, and drains.

• Monitor progressive care patients and report changes in condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Manage chest tubes, IV pumps, and drains
• Coordinate care with RN and PCT team members
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in Meditech
• Support safe, patient-centered care for medically complex patients

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PCU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale

• Medication drip management
• Central line care
• Post-procedure recovery care
