Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for neuroscience stepdown patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit includes neurology and neurosurgical patients, a designated stroke program, Epic charting, and 1:4-5 ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Titrate and manage cardiac drips
• Monitor telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Provide care for neuro stepdown patients
• Support pre- and post-neurosurgical care
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP and chest tube care

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of Progressive Care Unit or stepdown experience
• Experience managing 1:4-5 patient ratios
• Epic charting system experience
• Telemetry, neuro stepdown, and dysrhythmia management skills
