Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide adult and geriatric care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. Patients may include ER boarded, telemetry, and medical-surgical cases, with Epic charting and ratios from 1:4 to 1:6.

• Monitor telemetry and identify rhythm changes
• Assess adult and geriatric patients and prioritize care
• Manage charge duties when assigned
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary support services
• Administer treatments and oxygen therapy
• Document care and updates in Epic
• Maintain isolation precautions and support dysrhythmia care

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of US progressive care, telemetry, or medical-surgical nursing experience
• Previous charge experience
• Epic charting experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, and nasal cannula skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
