Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will support adult and geriatric telemetry and med surg patients in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. Charting is in Epic, and the unit serves adults and geriatrics with a variable census.

• Monitor telemetry and identify rhythm changes
• Interpret dysrhythmias and escalate concerns
• Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric medical-surgical and progressive care patients
• Administer medications and support oxygen therapy
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Epic
• Coordinate staffing needs and bed flow when assigned charge duties

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Two years of nursing experience in the United States
• Previous charge experience
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, nasal cannula care, and Epic charting experience

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
