Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a stepdown unit at an acute care hospital in Spokane, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic, with a 1:4-5 ratio, and the hospital is a teaching facility with Level II trauma designations. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor adults and geriatrics in the stepdown unit
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive infusions
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Support noninvasive respiratory care and oxygen therapy
• Administer blood products, insulin protocols, and ordered therapies
• Provide post-cardiac procedure and post-surgery care
• Coordinate with rapid response and support services

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of PCU or stepdown nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience managing 1:4-5 patient assignments
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration experience

• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Renal transplant, seizure disorder, skin graft, epidural analgesia, or TURP experience
