Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. EPIC charting is used, and the nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4-6 depending on acuity.

• Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and maintain isolation precautions and PPE standards
• Assess changing patient conditions and escalate concerns to the care team
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and bedside handoff
• Support charge nurse duties including coverage needs, bed flow, and general coordination

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care telemetry or progressive care experience
• US nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Previous charge nurse experience

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
