Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide adult med surg and telemetry care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The assignment includes ER boarded patients, ratios of 1:4-6, and Epic charting.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms
• Assess adults and geriatrics with med surg and telemetry needs
• Provide oxygen support and maintain nasal cannula therapy
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to changes in condition
• Coordinate staffing, bed flow, and unit communication in charge roles

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of US acute care nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and dysrhythmia management skills

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Cardiac step down experience
