Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will support adult and geriatric telemetry and med surg patients in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. Charting is Epic, and ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 based on acuity. Charge duties may be part of the assignment.

• Provide care for adult and geriatric telemetry and med surg patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias
• Administer oxygen and support respiratory needs
• Apply isolation precautions and maintain patient safety
• Coordinate staffing, bed flow, and daily operations when serving as charge nurse
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams as needed

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of US nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Epic charting experience
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, and nasal cannula skills

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
