Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in a cardiac stepdown unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic, and is part of a teaching level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor patients on telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Provide care for CHF, AFib, chest pain, and post-MI patients
• Assist with pre- and post-cardiac cath and post-cardiac surgery care
• Perform line, drain, airway, and oxygen support care
• Respond to changes in condition and support rapid response teams

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of Progressive Care Unit or stepdown experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience
• Cardiac telemetry and drip management experience

• Charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Renal transplant experience
• Seizure disorder, skin graft, TURP, and epidural analgesia experience
