Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a stepdown unit at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The 42-bed unit uses Epic and supports cardiac monitoring and drip management in a Level II trauma, teaching hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Provide care for chest pain, AFib RVR, and post-MI patients
• Support post-cardiac cath and post-cardiac surgery recovery
• Manage oxygen therapy, noninvasive airway support, and hemodynamic status
• Administer medications and maintain central and peripheral lines
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate care as needed

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of PCU, stepdown, or progressive care experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Epidural analgesia experience
• Renal transplant experience
