Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Seattle, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult and geriatric cardiac telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Seattle, Washington. The 36-bed unit averages 32 patients daily, uses Epic, and commonly sees myocardial infarction, open-heart surgery, vascular surgery, and stroke patients with cardiac involvement. The role supports a 1:4 ratio and advanced cardiac monitoring.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to cardiac changes
• Provide care for pre and post open-heart and vascular surgery patients
• Manage blood products, central lines, PICC lines, and IV access
• Assist with chest tubes, surgical drains, and wound care
• Administer cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Support oxygen therapy, CPAP, BiPAP, and non-invasive airway care
• Document and coordinate care in Epic

• Registered Nurse license in Washington
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• Post open-heart surgery experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• VAD or TAVR experience
• Ports, feeding tube care, and phlebotomy
• Titration of cardiac or vasoactive drips
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience
