Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for surgical progressive care patients in a 32-bed unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and supports telemetry, tracheostomy, chest tubes, and complex post-op care in a hospital setting.

• Monitor surgical progressive care patients
• Manage telemetry and post-operative support
• Assist with tracheostomy and airway care
• Coordinate care for drains and tube feeds
• Document patient status in Meditech
• Support hygiene, mobility, and infection prevention

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS/ALS certification
• Accredited nursing program
• Time management and critical thinking

• Progressive care unit experience
• Tracheostomy experience
