Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for neuro telemetry patients in a short term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lubbock, Texas. The 29-bed unit uses EPIC, sees admissions from the ED, ICU, and PACU, and typically staffs 1:4. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor neuro telemetry patients and interpret rhythms
• Administer cardiac and vasoactive drips per protocol
• Support stroke, epilepsy, and neurosurgical care needs
• Assist with blood products, lines, oxygen, and isolation precautions
• Respond with rapid response and code teams
• Collaborate with therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and families

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of progressive care, telemetry, or stepdown experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Any electronic health record system experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Level II trauma center experience
