Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in an intermediate care and stepdown unit in Austin, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and typically serves patients at a 1:4 ratio.

• Monitor telemetry and assess changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage drip titration
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care
• Support care for stepdown patients with cardiac needs
• Collaborate with the care team to plan treatment
• Educate patients and reinforce discharge readiness

• Active Registered Nurse license in Texas
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• BSN degree
• PCCN certification
