Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in an intermediate care unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The 22-bed unit uses Meditech charting and cares for patients with cardiac monitoring and respiratory support needs at a 1:4 ratio.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry changes
• Manage non-titratable drips as ordered
• Provide care for patients needing trach, BiPAP and Airvo support
• Assess progressive care patients and coordinate with the care team
• Document patient care in Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
• 1 year of progressive care unit experience
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
• Experience with respiratory patients, including trachs, BiPAP and Airvo
