Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in El Paso, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for cardiac, stroke and post-procedure patients in an acute care hospital unit during a 13-week contract in El Paso, Texas. The unit uses telemetry monitoring, Meditech charting and serves a 24-bed mixed-acuity population.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report changes
• Assess progressive care patients and respond to condition changes
• Provide care for post-cardiac procedure patients
• Support stroke and COVID patient management
• Collaborate with the care team during bedside handoff
• Update communication boards and document care in the chart

• Current Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Rhythm interpretation skills
• Progressive care and telemetry clinical skills

• Charge nurse leadership experience
• Critical care experience
• Monitor technician experience
