Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kingwood, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult cardiac and medical trauma patients in an acute care hospital in Kingwood, Texas on a 13-week contract. The 24-bed unit uses Meditech Expanse and has a maximum 5:1 ratio, with post heart cath care and standard equipment.

• Monitor cardiac and medical trauma patients
• Perform RN assessments and reassessments
• Administer medications and support treatment plans
• Document care in Meditech Expanse
• Assist with thoracentesis and chest tube care
• Support patients after heart catheterization
• Communicate changes in condition to the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 1 year plus IMU/PCU experience
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills

• Charge Nurse experience
• Meditech Expanse experience
