Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for stepdown patients in a hospital progressive care unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 32 beds, uses Meditech, and commonly manages telemetry, IV pumps, and BiPAP or CPAP support with 1:4 ratios.

• Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care
• Monitor telemetry and assess for changes in condition
• Titrate and manage ordered drips
• Administer medications and support IV therapies
• Coordinate care with the RN, PCT, and monitor tech team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
