Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 16-bed stroke and brain unit uses Meditech and supports telemetry monitoring, neurological checks, and a 4:1 patient ratio.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Assess neurological status and stroke symptoms
• Manage cardiac drips and related patient responses
• Administer medications and support care plans
• Perform bedside monitoring using unit equipment
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Stroke experience
• Neurology experience
• Telemetry and cardiac drip management
