Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Hays, KS

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for step-down patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Hays, Kansas. The unit runs 1:4-5, uses Meditech charting, and is designated Level 3 trauma. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and assess step-down patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Interpret rhythm changes and respond with the care team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in Meditech
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• Minimum of 1 year of IV start experience
• Meditech experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Dysrhythmia management
