Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Hays, KS

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for progressive care patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Hays, Kansas. The unit uses Meditech, has 1:4-5 ratios, and is a Level 3 trauma setting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Assess progressive care patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Coordinate care with providers and the nursing team
• Support patients with dysrhythmia management and telemetry monitoring
• Document care accurately in the charting system

• Registered Nurse license in Kansas
• ACLS and BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with IV start
• Meditech experience
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
