Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiac step-down patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The unit uses 1:3 ratios, telemetry, and Meditech charting for post-cardiac, vascular, and pre- and post-cath lab patients.

• Monitor telemetry and assess patients recovering from cardiac and vascular procedures
• Manage cardiac drips and respond to changes in patient condition
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure care for cath lab and electrophysiology patients
• Support bedside procedures and invasive line care as needed
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Cardiac drip management knowledge
• Accountability for actions

• 6 months of Progressive Care Unit experience
• Strong communication with patients and the interdisciplinary team
