Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults with surgical trauma in a progressive care trauma and telemetry unit in Columbia, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 41-bed unit uses telemetry monitoring for up to 14 patients, with ratios of 1:4 to 1:5. Epic charting is used.

• Assess and monitor adults with surgical trauma
• Manage telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Provide IV, central line, PICC, and port care
• Administer blood products and follow heparin protocols
• Support tracheostomy, feeding tube, drain, and wound care
• Coordinate with rapid response and interdisciplinary teams

• Current South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Strong telemetry, dysrhythmia, and IV management skills

• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Trauma Level II experience
