Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide cardiac stepdown care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, arrhythmias, CVA, and telemetry overflow, and uses Epic charting.

• Monitor telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Assess adults with cardiac and medical needs
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips
• Support post-MI and pre/post cardiac cath care
• Care for IVs, central lines, and heparin protocols
• Respond with rapid response and code teams

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• NIH
• 2 years of progressive care or cardiac stepdown experience
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience

• Chest tube care
• CVA care
• Tracheostomy care and management
