Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Clinton, SC

A Travel Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse will provide care for adults with complex cardiac and multisystem conditions in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Clinton, South Carolina. The unit has 20 beds, an average daily census of 14, and uses cardiac telemetry monitoring for adults and geriatrics. Care includes support for vasoactive therapy and dysrhythmia management.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Administer vasoactive and antiarrhythmic therapies as ordered
• Support thrombolytic therapy and anticoagulation care
• Assist with defibrillation, cardioversion and thoracentesis
• Perform non-invasive blood pressure and telemetry assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary services for complex cardiac care

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 2 years of experience
• 1 year of EPIC experience
• Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and dysrhythmia management
