Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in a neuro stepdown unit at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on a 13-week contract. The unit includes acute care and stepdown patients, uses Meditech, and carries stroke-related care.

• Monitor acute care and neuro stepdown patients
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips
• Support oxygen therapy, BiPAP, Vapotherm, trachs, and suction
• Assist with lumbar punctures and chest tube placement
• Document patient care in Meditech
• Coordinate bedside shift report and daily huddles

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong acute care nursing skills
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills

• Neuro stepdown experience
