Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiac med-surg patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech charting, has a 1:6 ratio, and focuses on telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip management.

• Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and report rhythm changes
• Administer medications and titrated cardiac drips as ordered
• Assess patient status, vital signs, and response to treatment
• Document care and clinical updates in Meditech
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and support staff on daily care
• Educate patients and families on cardiac med-surg care

• Active Registered Nurse license for Tennessee
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Telemetry certification
• Med-surg experience
• Cardiac and telemetry knowledge with EKG rhythm identification
• Meditech experience
