Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for stepdown patients in a hospital in Asheville, North Carolina on a 10 week contract. The unit serves telemetry patients in a Magnet hospital and a comprehensive stroke center.

• Monitor cardiac status and report changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on the plan of care
• Document assessments, interventions and responses in the chart

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Progressive care nursing skills
