Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide stepdown care in a hospital in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with a co-care model, uses Epic charting, and has a 1:4 bedside RN ratio.

• Monitor telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Care for cardiac, respiratory, neuro, renal, and medical-surgical patients
• Support high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomy, and chest tube care
• Administer blood products, IV therapies, and cardiac drips
• Complete admissions, discharges, education, and care planning
• Coordinate with rapid response and interdisciplinary teams

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of PCU, stepdown, IMC, or telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with BiPAP, HFNC, dysrhythmia management, and tracheostomy care

• Cardiac telemetry, pacemaker, or post-MI experience
• Neuro stepdown, stroke, or traumatic brain injury experience
• TAVR, post cardiac surgery, or catheterization experience
