Travel Pre-Op RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Pre-Op Registered Nurse will provide pre-op and phase 2 recovery care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has 9 pre-op beds, 5 phase 2 recovery beds, a 1:3 ratio, and Meditech charting.

• Prepare patients for surgery and procedural care
• Complete pre-op assessments and vital sign checks
• Monitor phase 2 recovery patients after procedures
• Support outpatient infusions, EKGs, blocks, and transfusions
• Assist with urology, GYN, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, and CT patients
• Document care in the electronic chart and communicate with providers

• Kansas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 1-year current acute care experience

• Pre-op experience
• Meditech experience
