Travel Pre-Op RN in Canton, GA

A Travel Pre-Operative Registered Nurse will provide pre-operative care in a hospital in Canton, Georgia on a 16-week contract. The role supports the pre-op unit and helps prepare patients for surgery in an acute care setting.

• Assess patients before surgery and confirm readiness for procedures
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Start and maintain IV access and assist with medication preparation
• Prepare patients for surgery and explain pre-op care steps
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient education
• Support safe patient flow through the pre-op unit

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certification
• 2 years of recent experience in the pre-op specialty
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
