Travel PICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill children in a children's hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. Ratios are 1:2 to 1:3, with support for ventilators, central lines, sedation, and neurologic monitoring. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor pediatric critical care patients and respond to changing conditions
• Assist with ventilator management, airway care, and respiratory support
• Administer IV medications, including vasopressors and anti-seizure therapies
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and other critical care devices
• Perform sedation, neurologic, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Support dysrhythmia interpretation and ABG review
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other support teams

• South Carolina or compact/multistate Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience
• Charting system experience
• Acute pediatric critical care skills

• ECMO
• CRRT
