Travel PICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill children in a pediatric ICU in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The role supports intensive pediatric monitoring, respiratory support, and close hemodynamic observation with 1:2 to 1:3 ratios.

• Assess critically ill pediatric patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support ordered pediatric ICU therapies
• Monitor ventilator support, airway status, sedation, and hemodynamics
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and implanted access devices
• Assist with chest tubes, ICP monitoring, ABG review, and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other support services

• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of pediatric ICU experience
• Pediatric critical care charting system experience
• Pediatric dosage calculation, ventilator, airway, sedation, and line care skills

• ECMO experience
• CRRT experience
