Travel PICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care in the pediatric intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit uses 1:2 to 1:3 ratios and serves pediatric critical care patients.

• Monitor pediatric critical care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer IV medications and titratable drips
• Manage ventilated patients and assist with airway care
• Support central lines, PICC lines and chest tubes
• Interpret ABGs and cardiac rhythms
• Apply infection control and isolation precautions
• Collaborate with the care team and use pediatric dosage calculations

• South Carolina or compact-state Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA PALS certification
• 2 years of pediatric ICU experience
• Charting system experience

• ECMO experience
• CRRT experience
