Travel PICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care for pediatric patients in a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit maintains 1:2 to 1:3 ratios and supports children with complex respiratory and neurologic needs. First-time travelers are welcome if they have the needed experience.

• Assess critically ill pediatric patients and update care plans
• Administer medications, IV vasopressors, and continuous sedation
• Monitor ventilated patients and airway support
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and ICP monitoring
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias and respond to changes
• Provide infection control, isolation precautions, and family support

• South Carolina or compact/multistate Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS certification
• Two years of pediatric ICU experience
• Charting system experience
• Pediatric dosage calculation skills and PICU clinical skills

• ECMO experience
• CRRT experience
