Travel PICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill children in a children's hospital pediatric intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The role supports high-acuity pediatric patients with 1:2 to 1:3 ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide bedside care for critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor respiratory, neurologic, and hemodynamic status
• Administer and titrate IV medications, including vasopressors and sedatives
• Assist with ventilator support, airway care, and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, chest tubes, and continuous sedation
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias and respond to changes in condition
• Follow infection control and isolation practices and support family education

• South Carolina or compact multistate Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Charting system experience
• Pediatric critical care skills with ventilator, airway, central line, sedation, ICP monitoring, ABG, dysrhythmia, vasopressor, chest tube, BiPAP/CPAP, and anti-seizure medication care

• ECMO experience
• CRRT experience
