Travel PICU RN in Lubbock, TX

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill children in a pediatric intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Lubbock, Texas. The unit cares for neonates through adolescents, uses Epic charting, and has a 1:2 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients
• Manage ventilated patients and respiratory support
• Administer IV medications and continuous infusions
• Assess cardiac, neurologic, and respiratory status
• Support line care, isolation, and safety practices
• Collaborate with the care team and families

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS
• 1 year of PICU experience
• Epic charting experience
• Ventilator, BiPAP/CPAP, central line, HFNC, ABG, dysrhythmia, sedation, and IV vasopressor management skills

• Intubation assistance and ventilator management
• Hemodynamic and ICP monitoring
• EVD, chest tube, PICC, and post-cardiac surgery experience
