Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for pediatric patients in a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The role supports neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in PICU, NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care, with Epic charting.

• Deliver direct nursing care to pediatric critical care and neonatal patients
• Monitor hemodynamic, respiratory, and neurological status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered
• Assist with ventilator and airway management
• Support procedures and emergency response as assigned
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support teams

• Virginia Registered Nurse license or pending Virginia licensure
• BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Experience in NICU, acute pediatrics, and pediatric emergency care
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital and prior travel experience

• Pediatric PACU experience
• ECMO experience
• Previous charge experience
• Level III NICU experience
