Travel PICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide pediatric critical care support in Charlottesville, Virginia, on a 13-week contract. Epic charting is used, and the patient mix includes neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults.

• Deliver bedside care for pediatric patients with complex cardiac, medical, and surgical needs
• Monitor ventilated patients, vasoactive infusions, and hemodynamic status
• Assist with neonatal resuscitation, advanced airway support, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, and enteral access
• Perform blood product administration, blood gas interpretation, and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Support families and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license or pending licensure
• BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Epic charting experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Prior travel experience

• Pediatric PACU experience
• ECMO experience
• APHON or CPHON certification
• Trauma Level I or II experience
